Now, more than ever, families are being relied upon by their older relatives for all manner of assistance, including managing their financial affairs. Isolation and Lasting Powers of Attorney is where we can step in to help support your family.
Lasting Powers of Attorney can make a real practical difference. There are two types of LPA – one which deals with financial and property matters, and another that deals with health and welfare. Both are important and, in many cases, vital tools to help when vulnerable family members need support.
With a financial and property LPA the attorneys will be able to attend to all financial matters; negotiating extensions on loans, mortgage holidays etc as well as the simpler matter of being able to pay bills and manage accounts. The health and welfare LPA will give the attorneys the ability to make decisions on medical and care issues where the donor cannot make those decisions.
Society is having to change, but the need for clear, friendly and practical advice has not changed. We have a long record of helping families in need of advice about powers of attorney, and – whilst ensuring the safety of our clients and staff – we continue to do so.
We can arrange meetings in person (where safe to do so), or by telephone or video call.
Protect your independence by choosing who YOU want to assist you, and get the advice that you need to make that happen.
