Here at Rubin Lewis O’Brien, we are very aware that there is a great deal of worry and anxiety in the community about the making of Wills – especially in the current climate. We have an innovative will making scheme that is helping some of the most vulnerable local residents.
Partner, and head of the Wills, Trusts and Probate department Damian Lines TEP said “with the current Coronavirus situation, and government advice being to remain indoors, we have received a number of enquiries about making Wills, with the question of how this could be done.
“We have the answer – ‘where there’s a Will, there is a Window!’. By using modern technology such as Skype, Zoom (or even the telephone) we can meet virtually with our clients, and then arrange execution of the necessary documents by visiting our clients’ homes and witnessing through the window – protecting both their safety and that of our staff.”
Damian Lines TEP is a solicitor and full member of STEP (the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and leads his experienced team. He said “by using this new initiative we are able to better serve our clients, whilst maintaining that personal touch that is so important to both them and us. The team and firm as a whole has received Dementia Friendly training, and is well placed to identify the additional requirements that some clients may have”.
In order to have your Will prepared by a well experienced and qualified team simply telephone our office on 01633 867000 or visit our website at www.rlo.law to request a call.
