Gwent Landlord Forum

Our next Landlord Forum will be taking place TODAY at The Parkway Hotel, Cwmbran.

Commencing at 6pm, this free event invites all existing and new Landlords to come along and hear from our guest speakers and gives free access to our solicitors and accountants, and our guest speakers who bring a wealth of knowledge and experience of their specific business/service.  This is a chance to ask those questions you might otherwise have to book an appointment to discuss.

Our first speakers for this event will be Emma Cooke and Anne Garrett from Torfaen Borough Council Planning.  Emma will be giving an overview on consumer protection legislation that affect landlords, ranging from potential unfair contract terms in tenancy agreements, and fees, to energy performance certificates and the new minimum energy rating regulations coming into force from April 2018.

Anne will be giving an overview on Housing legislation which governs the letting of properties in the Private  Rented Sector including the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and Rent Smart Wales.

Our third speaker for the evening will be from Green & Co Accountancy updating on the Spring budget and explaining how to make Tax Digital.

Registration for this event is now open.

If you would like to receive details of future events just drop a quick email to Penny Jarman and we will send out information and invitations as they are arranged.  Contact details will not be shared with any other organisations.
