Tomos Carruthers
Trainee Solicitor
Specialising in: Wills, Trusts and Probate
I attended Cardiff University where I completed my undergraduate studies in BA History in 2018. I remained at Cardiff University to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and subsequently the Master of Laws (LLM).
Initially, I worked in a busy Personal Injury department at a large firm in Cardiff for around 3 years, assisting military personnel who were suffering with Noise-Induced Hearing Loss and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder as a result of their dedicated service. Following this, I gained experience as a fee earner for 6 months in busy Family and Private Client departments in Barry. I was offered a Training Contract at Rubin Lewis O’Brien in July 2023, assisting in the Private Client department.
Throughout my legal career to date, I have had substantial exposure to dealing with vulnerable clients which I feel is one of my core strengths, enabling me to provide high quality advice to a range of clients.
I am a keen cricketer and footballer and have played from a young age. I am an avid supporter of Swansea City and try to attend matches whenever I can during the season.
