I joined Rubin Lewis O’Brien in 2004 as a paralegal in the Childcare department. After qualifying as a solicitor in March 2007, I have continued to specialise in Childcare proceedings. I maintain both a friendly and robust approach when advising and representing my clients, no matter how serious or complex the issues are.
In September 2011 I was admitted onto the specialist Law Society Children Panel, meaning I am now also able to represent and take instructions from children in proceedings. Later that month, I was delighted to become a Partner in the Firm and tasked with expanding the busy Childcare department.
Outside of work I enjoy catching up with friends or improving my culinary skills, both of which are usually assisted with a little help from the grape and grain! I also travel to Bordeaux about twice a year to keep up my French and relive my memories following a memorable year’s work placement during my degree.
My favourite sport is football, whether watching a match from the comfort of my armchair, or the stinging discomfort of the windswept terrace fondly known as the “Shed” at Newport County AFC. I am an elected committee member for the Newport County AFC Trust which provides a voice for its fans while actively supporting the club at grass roots and community levels.
“Thank you so much for supporting us it means so much to us all as a family to get the children home where they belong before Christmas. Best wishes always.”
“It takes a special kind of person to do the job you do. We can only be thankful that we had you.”
“Thank you for giving me a piece of my life back, you were great”
“Thank you for helping me to get my family back together.”
