- Solicitor – Qualified 2017
I joined Rubin Lewis O’Brien in June 2017 following the completion of my Training Contract at a respected Newport firm. Prior to qualification I read Law with Criminology at the University of Sheffield where I was awarded the coveted Habendum Scholarship for academic excellence for two consecutive years. After graduating, I completed a postgraduate diploma in legal practice at Cardiff University.
I provide advice in a number of areas including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Probate matters. I also assist with applications to the Court of Protection where a Deputy is required, or where a decision needs to be made for someone who lacks capacity.
I have a particular interest in working with the elderly and have received excellent feedback for my empathetic and understanding manner, whilst being robust and thorough in my approach to legal issues. I enjoy building a relationship with my clients in order to provide a service that meets their individual requirements.
Away from work I enjoy attending the gym. I particularly enjoy running to raise money for charities such as the Alzheimer’s Society, Cancer Research and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. I play the Clarinet, travel and attend gigs.
