Legal Assistant in the Conveyancing team.

We have a vacancy for a hard-working individual to work as a Legal Assistant in our busy Property Department.
Candidates should be experienced in audio-typing, with very strong organisational and administration skills. You should also be confident, self-motivated and above all, a team player.

This role involves working as part of a team, preparing packs of documents to send out to clients; opening files; photocopying; liaising with clients, estates agents and solicitors, by email, telephone and in person; preparing documents such as contracts and transfers; preparing financial statements, bills and other administrative duties.
Experience of residential conveyancing is desirable and use of Microsoft Office and related packages is essential.

We would like to hear from both full and part time applicants.

This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week).

Residential Conveyancing Solicitor.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic residential property fee earner to join our busy team.

We are looking for a qualified solicitor or a legal executive with appropriate experience. The role will be full time, and will encompass the full range of residential property sales, purchases, transfers of equity, remortgages etc.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working as part of a team, with the ability to work independently where required.  Computer literacy is a must, and experience of working with case management software would be an advantage.

Hours are 9.00am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday

This is a full-time permanent position (37.5 hours per week).

General Office Assistant

We are looking to recruit a General Office Assistant for our busy office in the Centre of Cwmbran.

This is a full-time permanent position and candidates should be enthusiastic and keen to learn any tasks required throughout the firm, as this role will involve helping a variety of departments.

Basic duties involve receiving and sending post, large amounts of photocopying, scanning, preparing packs of documents for sending out to clients, going to the bank/building society, purchasing office supplies, carrying out admin tasks on files as required, assisting with deeds storage/database, typing.  You will also be expected to work on reception daily, greeting clients and answering the telephone.

Candidates should be computer-literate and educated to at least GCSE standard, with good communication skills at all levels and a pleasant nature.

Hours are 8.45 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. Monday to Friday and you would also be expected to help out on our Saturday rota, which is 10.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. approximately once every 8 weeks.
